Restoring and protecting our architectural heritage is an important priority in our fast-paced world.

In this project, an historic cast-iron lighthouse was documented in great detail, in preparation for restoration.

The lighthouse is situated on the eastern headland facing Wellington Harbor entrance. It was originally built in England, test-assembled, and then taken apart to be shipped to New Zealand.
